The SonicWALL SRA appliances offer SSL VPN access to corporate resources from virtually any managed or unmanaged endpoint(desktops, laptops, PDAs, tablets or smartphones) for small-sized or medium-sized organizations.

With only a standard web browser the mobile workforce can easily and securely access email, file shares, applications, remote desktops, servers, intranets or any other TCP/IP-based corporate resource.

SonicWALL SRA Features

Clientless access: through the web-based customizable Virtual Office portal.
The portal uses web, Java and ActiveX components that are downloaded transparently. Users access the portal through a standard browser.

No pre-installed fat client software: the SSL VPN is web-based and the level of access is extended as transparently as possible, improving the users’ experience and providing administrators with a great level of flexibility.

Web-based broad access to resources: FTP access, network file sharing interface, Secure Shell (SSH) and Telnet emulation, VNC (Virtual Network Computing) and RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) support, Citrix Web access, Microsoft OWA, plus Web and HTTPS proxy.

NetExtender: SonicWALL SSL VPN network extension client allows network level access to any TCP/IP-based resource on the corporate network. It is available through the portal via an ActiveX control, Java or as a stand-alone application that can be automatically installed on a client system.

Flexibility and compatibility: various endpoint platforms are supported: Windows, Linux, Mac or mobile(Windows Mobile, Google Android, Apple iPhone, Apple iPad and Symbian).

Anywhere access: from home PCs, kiosks, laptops, smartphones, tablets, PDAs over wired and wireless networks. The endpoints can be managed or unmanaged.

Redundancy and reliability: The SRA appliances include load balancing and high availability features.

PCI compliance: optional Web Application Firewall (WAF) Service for protection of web applications. Plus Data Leak Protection(DLP) to prevent the theft of user sensitive data(like Social Security Numbers and credit cards).

Granular Access: access to resources is controlled per users or group of users. The SRA appliances can deny everything that is not specifically permitted. Administrators have the ability and flexibility to enforce access to strictly needed resources.

Enhanced security: The SRA appliances can be easily integrated into a network protected by a SonicWALL Next-Generation Firewall to deliver multi-layered protection(IPS, gateway antivirus, content inspection, Flood Protection or Geo-IP & Botnet Filter).

Application Offloading: secure access to both internal and publicly hosted web applications. Enables support for web applications not currently supported by HTTP/HTTPS bookmarks and SSL offloading for a web application using the integrated SSL accelerator hardware.

SRA One-Time Passwords: a tokenless two-factor authentication capability is included as a standard features. Eliminates the issues associated with standard passwords(stolen, weak, forgotten, requiring frequent change).

Seamless integration: The SRA appliances are available in multiple formats, either as hardware appliances or virtual appliances. Deployment requires little change to the existing infrastructure in many cases(including virtual infrastructures).

Virtual Assist: an easy to use remote support solution. Simplifies the traditional costly and time consuming aspect of providing support to customers.

Seamless business continuity: through the Spike License Pack add-on license that enables businesses to increase remote user count immediately in case of various events.
